Ich habe nochmal zwei kurze Masternode Fragen:

1. wenn die masternode auf Enabled steht, kann ich die Wallet dann ganz normal schließen und die Masternode bleibt enabled? Ich dachte eigentlich dass der PC nicht die ganze Zeit Laufen muss. Gestern hatte ich den PC ausgemacht und dann stand später bei der Madternode: restart required.

2. was hat die Meldung ‚Äûwatchdog expired„ zu bedeuten? Habe gelesen könnte Firewall Problem sein aber der Begriff sagt mir nichts als Fehlermeldung...

Zu 1. Wenn Du den Masternode richtig auf einen VPS konfiguriert hast, kann der PC ausgemacht werden und er bleibt auf Enabled. Auch immer ein wenig warten am PC (ca. 10 Minuten) wenn Du Dir den Status anschaust. Hatte das auch schon Mal das der Status anscheinend nicht richtig erfasst wurde und nach 10 Minuten wieder auf Enabled angezeigt wurde.

Zu 2. Watchdog Expired bekam ich die ganze Zeit als ich den Masternode auf den PC konfiguriert hatte. Habe es nie lösen können und bin dann auf einen VPS ausgewichen. Das könnte unter Umständen aber auch mit dem Internet Provider zusammen hängen da ich die Ports entsprechend bei meinem Router offen, per Port Forward auch weitergeleitet hatte und auch in der Windows Firewall aufgemacht hatte.

It helps an advanced user with various troubleshooting issues and also a masternode setup. Paccoin.info is to be looked at like an encyclopedia for all things $PAC. A member of the community will be able to know that they are getting trusted and official information from $PAC members.

Soft Fork bei Blcok block 55009 (ca. am 28.04.2018) Masternode Besitzer müssen dann Sentinel Software auf eine neue Version updaten. hot-fix update to your pac core wallets

Here are the updated block rewards:

15% to Operations/marketing

5% to Charity

5% to miners (690 $PAC, was 4,830 $PAC)

And 75% to Masternodes (10,360 $PAC, was 6,210 $PAC)

Miner / Masternode ratio is then 6.25% / 93.75% (was 43.75% / 56.25%)

1. nach dem ich mit alle fertig bin, d.h. mit Putty auf den VPS angemeldet und auch alles erfolgreich ausgeführt habe und auch in der Wallet die masternode gestartet habe, kann ich dann alles Schließen? auch Putty? und es läuft trotzdem?
2. Muss ich, nach dem ich auf dem VPS Server fertig bin noch irgendwas beachten? also immer wieder mal anmelden und wenn ja die gleiche Vorgehensweise wie bei der Einrichtung?
3. kann ich mir mit nur einer Wallet und einem VPS auch mehrere Masternodes einrichten? oder brauch ich für jede Masternode auch eine weitere Wallet und auch VPS?
4. Gehen die geschürften coins direkt auf die gleiche Wallet auf der die Maternode läuft?

1. Ja. Du kannst auch dein pacwallet schliessen. Und auch dein PC abstellen, wenn du willst.
Alles läuft jetzt über den Server.

2. Jetzt musst du eigentlich gar nichts mehr machen. Ab und zu kannst du mal schauen ob dein masternode noch läuft. Und das geht sehr bequem über diese Seite: http://monitor.masternodes.work/monitor einfach in dem Feld unter IP die ip deiner vps angeben, und schon siehst du die wichtigsten details zu dein MN.(Manchmal wenn du dein Wallet nach einiger Zeit wieder startest, hast du den Status auf NEW_START_REQUIRED oder so. Das ist meistens nur eine Falschmeldung. Über die Seite oben, kannst du dann sicher gehen, ob das eine Falschmeldung ist oder nicht. )
3. Also ich habe 2 MNs auf zwei verschidene VPS und daffür aber den gleichen Wallet. Das geht sehr einfach. Wie und ob überhaupt 2 MNs auf einem VPS funktionieren kann ich nicht sagen.
4.Die Erarbeiteten Coins gehen auf deinem Wallet auf dein PC.

Unten auf der Seite gibt es auch eine Legende bei der unter Active Time folgendes steht: Node has not been active for more than # of Masternodes * 2.6 minutes

Mach dir keine Sorgen. Wenn der Status Enabled ist, dann ist alles in Ordnung.
Ich denke der "ActiveTime" status verschwindet, sobald du dein erster Reward erhalten hast.
Aktuell daueren Auszahlungen bis zu 5 Tagen.

We've moved the fork to block 50,000 + 2 new exchanges

Testing went very well on the new code base with the DEV team:

New rules on the network will be:

75% Masternodes
15% Treasury/OPS
5% Charity
5% Miners

- Currently looking at doing it Monday or Tuesday after the show - at block 50000
- Everyone can update wallets with new version and it will work fine with old
- Exchanges will be updated before the hard fork trigger block 50000
- New wallet and code (protocol) will work with the old version
- Masternodes will work with new version after block 50000
- If masternode is not updated it will not get payment after upgrade
- Wallets that are not updated will not be able to connect to the network
- All masternodes will use new rules at block 50000

We are delaying the launch of the new reward structure until AFTER the London Crypto Show so there won't be any risk of technical hiccups with wallets, sending coins or any live demos we will be doing. That's the last thing we need at a live event.

We expect it to go live Mon/Tue next week.

BONUS: Two new exchanges coming they're paid for from the ops budget and verified. One is building their $PAC wallets as we speak. Two decent sized volume exchanges $6 million & $170 million respectively.(bearbeitet)

How to update your masternode with shell script on a VPS to the latest verion (only for Cold wallet setup)
1) Go to your VPS and execute the following commands on the command line:
2) Write: wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/PACCommunity/PAC/master/pac-update.sh
3) Write: chmod +x pac-update.sh
4) Write: ./pac-update.sh
Or run this single line to execute the previous commands in one go:

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/PACCommunity/PAC/master/pac-update.sh && chmod +x pac-update.sh && ./pac-update.sh

5) Get the new wallet update by following the below instructions(Instructions to wallet update).
6) Start Masternode again. Example:
(a) Run this command: ./pac/paccoin-cli masternode start-alias MNxx
(b) Open your new wallet and under the masternode section choose your MN and click start alias.
7) CTo check that your masternode is successfully started - run this command from your VPS: ~/paccoin-cli masternode status
It should say if the masternode is successfully started and under your masternode section check that it says Protocol 70213

Follow the instructions: 1) Do you want to autobackup wallet.dat and continue with the process? [y/n]: Type yes to backup and continue or no to stop process

Instructions to wallet update:
1. Start with making a backup of your current wallet, just in case.
(a)go to your main Pac core folder and copy and paste the wallet.dat file to at least 2 usb keys
2. Close your wallet.
3. Choose your Computer system here - https://github.com/PACCommunity/PAC/releases/tag/v0.12.3.0
4. Install the wallet.
5. Your $PAC Core wallet should now be open and updated.
6. To make sure you're running the right wallet open the wallet and click on "Paccoin Core" and click on "About $PAC Core".
7. The wallet version should be saying $PAC Core version v0.12.3.0
8. Delete your old $PAC Core SHORTCUT, otherwise, you will load up the old $PAC Core wallet.
